Verna Bach

Verna Hintz Bach, 92, died Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Fountainbrooke Assisted Living.
Verna was born on May 26, 1926 in Honey Grove, TX, the daughter of Paul and Ida Stoehner Hintz. She worked for Southwestern Bell Corporation for 35 years and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Verna and Donald Bach were married on April 11, 1964 at St. James Lutheran Church in Honey Grove. He preceded her in death on December 20, 1990.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 25, 2019 at Grace Lutheran Church with Reverend Michael Mattil officiating. Family visitation will be at 9 a.m., 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Allens Chapel Cemetery, outside of Honey Grove, beginning at 12:30 p.m. Serving as her pallbearers will be: Larry Miller, Wilton Edington, Paul Hintz, Kenneth Jones, David Hintz, Greg Bielefeldt and Billy Gaither.
Verna is survived by her son, Michael Bach and his wife, Jeanette of Sebewaing, MI; daughters, Donna Haile and her husband, David of Mesa, AZ and Jenifer Wang and her husband, Michael of Oklahoma City, OK; brother, Clarence Hintz of Blossom, TX; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one brother and two sisters.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, that memorials be made to the Grace Lutheran Church Building Fund.
