Tribute

Tyler Paul Aldridge, 24, passed from this life on August 31, 2021. He was born October 4, 1996 in Norman, Oklahoma to Stephanie Jones and Kevin Aldridge. Tyler lived and worked most of his life in the Norman area. He was deeply loved and respected by all who knew him.
Tyler was a devoted father to five beautiful girls who adored him with their whole heart. They were his pride and joy, and you rarely ever saw Tyler without one or more of them. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for them. He loved spending his days with them, and he shared his sense of humor with them and his love for fun. They loved to tease and play tricks on one another
Tyler was a jack of all trades. He could do anything or make anything, and he was meticulous with his work. He took great pride in accomplishing tasks. If he didn’t know how to do something, he would YouTube and study it until he figured it out.
Tyler had many hobbies, but his first love was dirt bike racing. He was an avid racer and won many trophies during his riding years. Due to numerous injuries, he had to quit racing, but he continued to support and encourage his brothers, Austin and Cody, and his dad, Kevin. He was the voice in their ear, their biggest fan and cheerleader, and occasionally their critic.
Tyler loved people. His love and smile were infectious that would light up any room. If you asked him, or even if he thought you needed something, he was there to give it to you. He would give his shoes, shirt or last dime to a complete stranger or his best friend, and he wouldn’t worry one second about replacing them. Tyler not only had a heart to work hard for what he and his family needed, but also a faith to know that his needs would be met. He was an honest and loyal soul and he loved with all he had.
Tyler also loved animals. If he saw a stray on the road, he would stop and try to find its home. He always had a dog or two or a cat, and he passed this love of animals on to his children. His heart was big and his number one desire was to make others happy and to feel content.
Tyler loved spending time with friends and family. He didn’t need or want anything fancy. He just wanted others to have everything they wanted. He loved shopping for his girls for Christmas. Nothing delighted him more than seeing their faces light up with surprise on Christmas morning. Tyler just enjoyed the laughs and fun with friends and family.
During his last month on Earth, he enjoyed a weekend at the lake and a trip to the beach with his family. He was so grateful to be able to share so much fun with his family and to treat his girls to 10 fun-filled days. Tyler will live on in so many ways and in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
Tyler is survived by his daughters, Emmalee Elizabeth, Summerlinn Paige, Kamberlyn Faith, Blakely Rae and Evelyn Ann; his wife Brittani, all of the home; parents, Stephanie and Bryan Jones and Kevin and Julie Aldridge; brothers, Austin, Cody and Kyson Aldridge, Beau Hoisington and a sister Megan Jones; grandparents Michael and Diane McBride, Steve and Debby Turner, Red and Jackie Aldridge. Tyler also had many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins that he loved deeply and together they spent so much time.
