Roy Wayne Greeson

Roy Wayne Greeson, of Moore, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022 at the age of 72. Roy was born on January 30, 1950 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Taylor Ray and Minnie Geneva (Pierce) Greeson. Roy faithfully and honorably served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam. He experienced many medical hardships as a result of his service, but he was so very proud to defend his country. He loved being outdoors and had a great fondness of hunting and fishing. He loved his family and was a very loving grandfather. He is deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Roy is survived by his children, Travis Wayne Greeson, Monica Greeson, Roseanne (Jeff) Crabtree, and Jennifer (Shannon) Vaughn; grandchildren, Brent, Breanna, Brandon, and Braydon; siblings, Ronald Greeson, Betty (Gerry) Clendeing, and Shirley (Roger) Zerbe; along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family members and friends.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Taylor Ray and Minnie Geneva (Pierce) Greeson.

A visitation will take place from 5-8pm on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Moore Funeral and Cremation. A funeral will be held at 1pm on Friday, December 30, 2022, also at Moore Funeral and Cremation, with interment and the rendering of military honors to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
