Marilyn Jean (Bond) Campbell was born on March 8, 1936, the only child of John William Bond and Zula Ray (Davis) Bond, in Hobart, OK. She grew up in Lone Wolf, OK.
On December 23, 1953, she married the love of her life, Delano Wilson Campbell, who lovingly cared for Marilyn when her health began to fail.
Marilyn attended SWOSU and OU, receiving her Bachelors of Music Education Degree from SWOSU. She taught Music in the public schools for 30 years, ending her career in Moore. Her love of music and children made her a favorite and many students were greatly inspired by her. Marilyn was a very artistic and creative soul. It seemed like everything she tried she conquered, including such things as sewing, painting, crafting, cooking, baking, and playing the piano. And she instilled many of those things in her children and grandchildren. Marilyn was a devout Christian, who truly loved the Lord. She deeply loved and cared for her family.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Delano; Son, Courtney Campbell and wife Susie; Daughter, Kaye Sims and husband Stormy; and Daughter Christy Blazer. Grandchildren: Brandy (Charlton) Norwood, Stacey (Ryan) Houdmann, Tracey Campbell, Stephanie Blazer, Corey (Holly) Edwards, Tommy (Renee) Edwards, Christopher (Brittany) Edwards, Charles (Brittany) Sims, Lacey Sims, and numerous Great Grandchildren
