Lana Carol Iverson

Lana Carol Iverson, age 74, passed away on October 19th, 2021, at her home in Moore, Oklahoma. Lana was born on July 28th, 1947 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at University Hospital to her parents, Fred and Lois Orsburn. She was raised in Oklahoma City and spent her childhood with her beloved brothers and sisters. In 1965, rooted in Bell Gardens, California, she met the one and only love of her life, Daniel Iverson, and they were married later that same year.
When Danny joined the Air Force, they spent the next 20 years traveling the world together and enjoyed time in California, Washington, Oregon, Texas, New Mexico, Germany, and Oklahoma. During that time, Lana was a beloved mother and care taker for their three beautiful children, Daniel Jr, Charlotte, and Michelle. Lana was originally going to school for beautician along with being a great baker and homemaker. She would also crochet and enjoyed the creative arts.
Lana is survived by her husband, Daniel Iverson Sr, and her three children, Daniel Iverson Jr, Charlotte Peckinpaugh, and Michelle Aupperle. She is also survived by her sisters, Barbara Van Alstine, Sharon Whitlock, Vicky Woods, her brother Michael Orsburn, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Lois Orsburn, her brother Kenneth Orsburn, and her sister, Shirley Watson.
Services will be held for Lana at the Moore Funeral and Cremation Center, in Moore, Oklahoma on Wednesday, October, 27th at 2pm. All family and friends and family friends are welcomed and invited to attend.
