Kay Marina Lancaster, 65, of Oklahoma City, unexpectedly left this world on August 31, 2022. Kay was born to Jean Mabel Clarke and Stanley John Kendall on February 25th 1957 in Slough, England. She is the 2nd of 5 Children. Her siblings include Lynn, Tina, John, and Jenny. Kay was an accomplished seamstress and ballroom dancer at a young age, having helped her Mum sew dresses for all of the girls and winning national competitions. Kay enjoyed school becoming the first and only one of her family to go to university and graduate with Honors in Fine Art from the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff. After university she traveled Europe paying her way by drawing, sketching, and painting famous works of art on the street whilst her friend Sue played the Saxophone. She made it all the way to Berlin, Germany where she met the love of her life, Landy Lane Lancaster, who was stationed there with the US Army, Berlin Brigade. Landy and Kay were married May 22, 1981 at Lavern’s Wedding Chapel in Miami, OK. Kay enjoyed traveling the American countryside and loved spending time with her stepson and stepdaughter, Aaron & LaNan. In May 1988, Kay & Landy welcomed their son, Alex Landy Lancaster, whom they loved immensely. Kay was a master of all trades, having worked in numerous fields with great success. She spent 10 years managing and selling for Business Archives in Oklahoma City, OK. She owned and operated a deli, Submarina, in Midwest City, OK from 1991-1999 where she enjoyed serving and meeting many people. After selling her business, Kay went to work for the U.S. Department of Defense at Tinker Air Force Base where she was a skilled mechanic and served the remainder of her career there until retirement in 2018. Kay lived her best life in retirement and enjoyed RV’ing across the country and found her paradise at Topsail Hill State Park in Santa Rosa, Florida where they volunteered, spent time relaxing, and making new friends. She also enjoyed trips to Mexico and South Padre, Texas.

Kay is preceded in death by her mother Jean and father Stan.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Landy, son Alex Lancaster of Midwest City and his wife Lindsey, stepson and stepdaughter and their spouses, Aaron and Lindsey Lancaster of Norman, LaNan and Devin Bedwell of Driftwood, TX. Her siblings and their spouses, Lynn and Barry Tweed, Tina and Peter Wright, John and Sarah Kendall, Jenny and Laurence Standen, all from southern England. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews. Kay leaves behind a legacy of 11 grandchildren, Alayna, Dallin, Rhett, Ty, Grace, Ethan, Cora, Luke, Elizabeth, Henry, and Charlotte.

A celebration of life is scheduled for September 9th, 2022 at Moore Funeral and Cremation at 11:00 a.m.
