Jerry Lynn Lyons Jr

Jerry passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022 in his home in Dover, Oklahoma. He was born on October 31, 1993.

Jerry’s unexpected passing came as a shock to all that he knew. He loved his family, especially his cherished sister and father who have previously passed away.

Happy and grateful was Jerry knowing he had found his mate. They loved spending time together while his partner was not at work.

His family knew that he loved animals, Batman and candy. Among his other favorites were the color purple (not the movie!!), Pikachu, Zelda (video game), stars, rainbows and the moon. He also greatly appreciated being heard and listened to.

Although only obtaining a 9th grade education, this child was extremely smart. His mother reflects at his ability to add while in pre k. Furthermore, he could say his A.B.C.’s at the age of 3.

Jerry is survived by his soulmate, Eric; mother, Crystal; stepfather, Dorsey; brothers, Glenn and Travis – their wives, Mindy and Alyssa (respectively); grandmother, Joan; sisters, Lori and Shari; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Jerry is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Donald and Elaine Lyons; maternal grandfather, Ralph Richardson; father, Jerry Lynn Lyons Sr.; brother, K.C. Lyons; and sister, Donel Star Lyons.

A short memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 11am at the Lighthouse Foursquare Church, located at 208 SE 70th St., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73149, followed by a meal.
