Donnie Elms

Donnie Clois Elms, 86, of Harrah, Oklahoma passed away on Wednesday, June 16 2021. He was born on August 14, 1934 in Fresno, California to Howard Elms and Grace (Matthews) Elms.

He spent most of his young life in Blythe, California where he met his wife June (Waldrop) Elms of 64 years before moving to Harrah, Oklahoma.

After serving in the Korean War, Donnie worked as a truck driver for 30 years for transportation company Roadway.

After retiring, he and June spent most of their time with their two grandchildren, Ashley Elms, 28 and Donnie Elms, 25 whom they had great pride in.

His parents, his wife, June, and son, Brian, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his granddaughter Ashley, grandson Donnie, and daughter, Channie Elms.

Funeral service will begin at 10am on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Memory Lane Cemetery in Harrah, Oklahoma.
