Donna Lynn Yeager

Donna Lynn Yeager, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the age of 69. Donna was born on November 3, 1953 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Max Edward Johnson and Betty Lou (Boydston) Johnson. She was the most generous and kind-hearted person you would ever meet. She always tried to give back to her community as much as she possibly could. Donna centered her life on doing things for others and helping others. She was the most awesome mother and would take her grandkids to the ocean each year. She was the best homeroom mother out of all of the other kids’ mothers, and she was always at all of the events the kids participated in every year as they grew up. As a paraprofessional Donna enjoyed her students in special education and loved volunteering every year as her students participated in the Special Olympics. Her special education students were an extension of her family to her and she adored spending time with them and watching them grow up as well. Donna was the best cook ever and loved cooking special meals and desserts for the community and schools, but especially for her family, who she loved dearly.

Donna is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Steve Yeager; children, Rodney Bryan Yeager and Christina Renee Yeager; grandchildren, Shawn Dillion Yeager, Seth Michael Yeager, Caleb Andrew Yeager, Shay Yeager, Audisty Yeager, and Serenity Faith Yeager; mother, Betty Lou Johnson; sisters, Debi (Steve) Hinman and Sandy (Howard) Johnson; along with many additional extended family members and friends.

Donna is preceded in death by her father, Max Edward Johnson.

A visitation will be held from 5-7pm on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Moore Funeral and Cremation. A funeral service will take place at 10am on Friday, January 13, 2023 also at Moore Funeral and Cremation. Interment will follow at Wanette Cemetery.
