On Thursday, February 16, 2023, surrounded by his loving family, David Ray Suttle departed this world at the age of 83.
David was born on December 14, 1939, to Ollie and Eva Suttle of Moore, OK. He was raised on a farm with his older brother and three younger sisters.
He loved the farm and was active in FFA throughout his secondary school years. He won many awards and accolades for his prize livestock. After graduating from Moore High School, he met the love of his life, Yolonda Louise Mattox. The two were wed in 1960 and established a home in Moore.
His career in the financial sector, serving as President to several financial institutions, would require him to move his family to Pawhuska, Sterling, and Rush Springs. However, the most important things in his life were his Christian faith and his beloved family.
David was preceded in death by his mother, Eva, his father, Ollie and his brother Paul. He is survived by wife of 62 years, Yolonda; four children, Cathy Suttle, Deena Suddath, Cindy Goodwin and Brian Suttle and his wife, Claire; four grandchildren, Marie, Sophie, Mattox and Grant; sisters Verda Beavers, Darlene Williams, Gerrie Suttle; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
David’s Celebration of Life will be Friday, March 3, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Moore Funeral and Cremation, 400 SE 19th Street, Moore, Oklahoma. The family asks that in lieu of flowers please make a donation to your favorite faith or service based charity.
