Chris Free

Christopher Thomas Free, of Norman, Oklahoma, left this world too soon on July 1, 2022 at the age of 29. Chris was born on August 8, 1992 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Thomas and Rita (Lay) Free. Chris had so many passions in life. He loved everything about life. He loved going to the river, spending time with his friends, spending time with his kids, and he especially loved making everyone laugh. He was a jokester and was always happy, always smiling, and always trying to make those around him smile. His favorite holiday was the 4th of July because it gave him time to spend with friends and family and create lifelong memories. Chris loved rebuilding his cars and trucks and he enjoyed building a house for his parents to live in. He was blessed to marry the love of his life, Brooke Gray, and was even more blessed to raise two beautiful children with her. He was the best son, brother, husband, father, uncle, and friend anyone could ever hope to have.

Chris is survived by his loving wife, Brooke Gray; children, Mistie Free and Ryleigh Free; parents, Thomas and Rita (Lay) Free; siblings, April (Dan) Shuffield, Travis Free, and Brandon Free; sister-in-law, LeAnne Gray; brother-in-law, Thomas Gray; nieces and nephews, Makayla Holmes, Brailey Holmes, Kattie Kessinger, Autumn Kessinger, Angel Shuffield, and Hunter Shuffield; and special friends, Tim Usey, Phillip Logan, Jerry Sell, Harry Sell, Haskel Robins, Richard Clark, and Teralena Ross.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2022 from 5-7pm at Moore Funeral and Cremation. A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 1pm at Moore Funeral and Cremation.
