Bruce Errol Kiefer, 74, Oklahoma City passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2020. He was born February 22, 1946 in Enid, OK to Paul Lee Kiefer and Beadie Elizabeth (Heath) Kiefer.
He grew up in Enid, attended school at Enid High School where he was the pitcher on their baseball team. He went to Phillips University in Enid, before going into the Air Force and fighting in Vietnam.
He loved watching old western TV/movie shows. His favorite football teams were the OU Sooners and Dallas Cowboys. He loved watching basketball and golf. He loved playing his guitar solo and with his brother Kenneth and singing Pretty Paper by Roy Orbison (which was his sister Patricia and mother Beadie’s favorite song) and Country Roads by John Denver. His daughters, nieces, and nephews’ fondest memories are talking for hours with him, listening to his stories from his baseball/basketball days in high school to his war stories in Vietnam. He was liked and loved by everyone who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents Paul Lee Kiefer and Beadie Elizabeth (Heath) Kiefer; his sisters Bonnie and Bootsie; his close friend/ex brother in-law Jim Rezler.
Bruce is survived by his four daughters Stacy Ann (Kiefer) Minor and husband Clint, Kimberly Dawn (Kiefer) Bivens, Vera Louise (Kiefer) Stoa, and LeAnn Rimes Kiefer. His seven grandkids Stasia (husband Donovan) and Drake; Brady and Brialey; Jessica, Juliet, and Gabriel. His sister Patricia Wentworth (husband Frank) and his brothers Jerald (wife Lydia), Kenneth (wife Linda), and Larry (wife Ronda); and several nieces and nephews.
Private immediate family viewing for Bruce will be from 2:00pm to 3:00pm on October 16, 2020 at Moore Funeral Home, 400 SE 19th St in Moore OK.
