Billie Rosetta Mowry

Billie Rosetta Mowry, 81, passed from this life on February 20, 2023 from dementia. She was born November 3, 1941 in Lamar, Oklahoma to William and Velva (Jay) McCoy. During her life, she enjoyed traveling, gardening, and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Billie’s backyard birthday, swimming, and family reunion gatherings were some of her most treasured memories.

Billie is survived by her husband of 42 years, John Mowry. Her children, Mary Richardson, Brian Rains, Johnny Mowry and Tracy VanHove. She has 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She is survived by her sisters, Willene King and Carolyn Scoggin along with a  large extended family. Billie was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter Kristi Deister and siblings Marilyn Williams, Nancy Conley, Peggy Turley, Charles McCoy and Ronnie Wagoner.  

There will be a visitation/viewing on Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 11am – 5pm at Moore Funeral Home located at 400 S.E.19th Street in Moore, Oklahoma 73160. 
 
Billie wishes were to be cremated after her viewing with no memorial service to follow. Please honor her wishes by coming out to spend time with her on Thursday.
