Archie LeRoy Stahlman of Moore, OK passed away on December 3rd, 2019 at the age of 90.
LeRoy is preceded in death by his father, Archie Miller, and mother, Edith Lee, one sister Mary Alice Seals, and one brother James Elisha Stahlman.
LeRoy is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Virgie Lu Stahlman. They were married on March 24th, 1952 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
He is remembered by his son Roy Stahlman and wife Pam, daughter Tylou Ward and husband Mike, grandsons Brad Stahlman and wife Mary, Michael Stahlman and wife Yvonne, granddaughter Charlotte Ward, four great grand daughters Sarah, Susan, Emily and Rachel Stahlman, brother JD Stahlman, and sisters Velta Mitchel and husband Levi, and Barbara Brown, and his loving cat Callie and dog Holly.
LeRoy was born in Lookeba, Oklahoma on October 17th, 1929. He grew up on his family farm in Cogar, Oklahoma and went to school in Hinton, Oklahoma. He graduated from Verden High School in 1947 and attended one year at Oklahoma A&M before beginning his career in oil field seismographing as senior observer.
Also worked in industrial weed control in later years.
He loved being with his family and friends and church groups.
He loved to hunt and fish. And fish frys He will be sorely missed
Visitation will be held Thursday, December 5th from 4-8 PM at Moore Funeral and Cremation at 400 SE 19th, Moore, OK 73160.
Funeral service will be Friday, December 6th at 1 PM at Moore Funeral and Cremation.
