Location Manager/Funeral Director/Embalmer
Megan's journey began with her dedication to public service.
She served for five years in civil service as an emergency dispatcher at the
Stark County Sheriff’s Office in Canton, Ohio. She was then called to serve our
country, and she proudly served for five years in the United States Marine
Corps. While still in military service, Megan pursued higher education, earning
her Associate's Degree in Funeral Service from Ogeechee Technical College in
Statesboro, Georgia. She further expanded her academic horizons, obtaining a
Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Maryland.
In 2017, Megan embarked on her career in funeral directing
in Georgia, later relocating to Kansas in 2018. Since the beginning of 2022,
she has been an integral part of the Moore community, where she is passionate
about providing compassionate and professional service.
Beyond her work, Megan dedicates her spare time to giving
back to the community. She is a volunteer for the American Foundation for
Suicide Prevention, a cause that holds a special place in her heart. Megan is
also an active member of the American Legion Post 184 in Moore, Oklahoma, and
the Marine Corps League Sooner Detachment of Oklahoma City, demonstrating her unwavering
commitment to her fellow veterans.
When she's not busy with her professional and volunteer
commitments, Megan indulges her love for exploration by visiting museums and
zoos, always eager to learn and discover new things.
